This article reporting on a study that found a direct link between the tar sands and higher levels of carcinogens in Canadian water came out on Jan. 9th and here we are, a month later, and everything continues as planned.
I am not a Canadian citizen, and probably neither are you. Even if you don't live on the North American continent, this affects you. It affects us all. The evidence is in: it's time to end sand oil mining. We can no longer put off the effects of our bad decisions until tomorrow, or the subsequent generations; this hard evidence cannot be ignored.
